Peer Review Process
The International Journal of Entrepreneurship, Business and Technology (IJEBT) is committed to upholding the highest standards of scholarly publishing. We utilize a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality, validity, and significance of the research published in the journal.
- Process Type: IJEBT employs a double-anonymous peer review process. This means that the identities of the authors are concealed from the reviewers, and the identities of the reviewers are concealed from the authorsthroughout the review period.
- Initial Screening: Upon submission, all manuscripts undergo an initial assessment by the editorial office to check for completeness, adherence to journal scope and guidelines, and originality (including a plagiarism check using Turnitin). Manuscripts that do not meet these initial criteria may be returned to the authors without external review.
- Reviewer Assignment: Manuscripts passing the initial screening are assigned to an Associate Editor with relevant expertise. The Associate Editor invites at least two independent, qualified reviewers who are experts in the manuscript's subject area.
- Review Criteria: Reviewers are asked to evaluate the manuscript based on criteria such as:
- Originality and novelty of the work
- Significance and contribution to the fields of entrepreneurship, business, or technology
- Methodological soundness and rigor
- Clarity, organization, and readability
- Adequacy of literature review and referencing
- Ethical considerations
- Decision: Based on the reviewers' feedback and recommendations, the Associate Editor makes a recommendation to the Editor-in-Chief. The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the final decision, which may be:
- Accept Submission
- Revisions Required (Minor or Major)
- Decline Submission
- Revision Stage: If revisions are requested, authors receive anonymized reviewer comments and are asked to respond point-by-point, detailing how they have addressed the feedback in their revised manuscript. Revised manuscripts may be sent back to reviewers for further evaluation.
- Confidentiality: All manuscript details are treated with strict confidentiality by editors and reviewers.
