Open Access and Article Processing Charge (APC)

The International Journal of Education & Technology (IJE-TECH) (e-ISSN 2976-3428) is committed to open access principles and publishes all articles in full open access. This ensures that research findings are freely and universally available, maximizing their visibility and impact within the global education and technology communities.

To support the costs of publication, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is levied on manuscripts upon acceptance after peer review. The APC covers essential services including peer review coordination, copyediting, typesetting, indexing, long-term digital preservation, and journal administration.

The APC is based on the final length of the published article (including references) as follows:

  • Standard Articles (up to and including 12 pages): RM 670 (Malaysian Ringgit) or USD 150 (US Dollars)
  • Extended Articles (from 13 up to and including 20 pages): RM 900 (Malaysian Ringgit) or USD 200 (US Dollars)
  • Subsequent Pages (for articles exceeding 20 pages): An additional charge of RM 9 (Malaysian Ringgit) or USD 2 (US Dollars) per page will apply for each page beyond the 20th page.

Additional Information:

  • If applicable, local VAT or Sales Tax will be added to the invoice.
  • Submitted papers must be properly formatted and written in English. Authors may choose to use the HDF English editorial service before submission or during revisions, potentially at an additional cost.
  • Nota bene: Many national and private research funding organisations and universities cover APCs for articles that result from funded research initiatives. Authors are encouraged to investigate their eligibility for APC funding.
